| The Big Question |
|
|
| For Erica's birthday in July of 2002, Erica wanted to spend a
day in Central Park together. Little did she know that this played perfectly into my plans
to surprise her with the Big Question. We started out at the North end of the park and
strolled down past the reservoir, past the Shakespeare Garden and the south end of the
Great Lawn. We walked around Belvedere Lake and up to Belvedere Castle and then down
through the Rambles and to the boat house. We rented a boat and paddled around the lake
for an hour or so before walking over to Strawberry Fields, where Erica opened her present
and I asked her to marry me. |
