Nevada City, CA - 8/00
After visiting Portland and the Oregon coast Erica and I came to my home town, Nevada City, to spend a week with my family and to visit the Yuba River.  When I was growing up I never really thought about it much, but I now realize that the Yuba River is a truly rare and magnificent place.  Every time I leave it I wonder why.   With a hope of capturing some of the river's beauty to carry me though the year away, most of my pictures from CA are of the Yuba.
