How to find us:

By Public Transportation

Take NJ Transit, Amtrak or the PATH to Penn Station, Newark. From there: (1) Take a cab west on Raymond Blvd., right on Washington St., left on Bleeker St., left on University Ave., 1 block to CMBN; 3 minutes, or (2) Take local Newark subway/trolley (very clean & safe) from lower level of Newark train station, 2 stops to Washington St. (fare $0.50), walk 1 block North to CMBN along University Ave.

Or take NJ Transit to Newark Broad Street Station. From there take a cab east on University Ave almost to Warren. CMBN parking lot is on your right: a small lot tucked in between the new Life Sciences Building on the corner and two greenhouses in front of the Aidekman Center; 3 minutes. It walks in about 15-20 min.

If you come from Manhattan: You can take (1) NJ Transit or Amtrak from Penn Station, NY to Penn Station, Newark; takes 15 minutes. From Newark Pennstation follow the instructions given above. Or, (2) take the PATH which runs every 10 minutes or so from various stops in Manhattan to Journal Square (*Note destination! Do not go to Hoboken), change for Newark; takes about 45 minutes. From Newark Pennstation follow the instructions given above. Or, (3) take NJ Transit from Penn Station, NY to Newark Broad Street Station. From Broad Street Station follow the instructions given above.

By Car (check with us ahead of time about parking!!)

Via Garden State Parkway North: Take Exit 145 to Route 280 East towards Newark-Harrison. As you come off the ramp, bear right and follow signs for Route 280 East, Newark-Harrison. Once on Route 280, stay in the middle lanes and continue to follow signs for Rt. 280. The road divides - stay to the right, continuing on Route 280, and follow the signs for Harrison. Take Exit 14, marked King Blvd (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd). Take exit to bottom of ramp (to light) and turn right onto King Blvd. On King Blvd., bear right through first light (Orange St.). Continue on King Blvd through two more traffic lights (St. Michael's Medical Center will be on your left). The 3rd light is Central Avenue - go one more block and turn left onto Bleeker Street (NJIT is on your right). Go one block and turn right onto University Ave. A small parking lot is at the end of the block on your right just before Warren Street, tucked in between the new Life Sciences Building on the corner and the two greenhouses in front of the Aidekman Center. About 10 minutes traveling time from merging onto Route 280.

Via New Jersey Turnpike: Take Exit 15W (West) to Route 280 west. Continue on 280 past the first exit (15 - marked Newark-Belleville) to Exit 14B, marked King Blvd. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto State St. Make the first right onto University Ave. Proceed through three lights, after which you'll pass Bleeker St. A small parking lot is at the end of the block on your right, just before Warren Street, tucked in between the new Life Sciences Building on the corner and two greenhouses in front of the Aidekman Center. About 12 minutes traveling time from NJ Turnpike exit 15 W.

Via McCarter Highway (Route 21): If you are coming from the South: From McCarter Highway, turn LEFT onto Raymond Boulevard. If you are coming from the North: From McCarter Highway, turn RIGHT onto Raymond Boulevard. At the 5th traffic light make a RIGHT onto Washington Street. At the 3rd light on Washington St., turn LEFT onto Bleeker Street. At the first stop sign make a LEFT onto University Avenue. A small parking lot is at the end of the block on your right just before Warren Street, tucked in between the new Life Sciences Building on the corner and the two greenhouses in front of the Aidekman Center.

Directions from New York:

Via Lincoln Tunnel and George Washington Bridge: Follow signs to N.J. TURNPIKE SOUTH. Take NJ Turnpike Exit 15W (West) to Route 280. Continue on 280 past the first exit (15 - marked Newark-Belleville) over the drawbridge to Exit 14B, marked King Blvd. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right onto State St. Make the first right onto Martin Luther King Blvd, and go under the BROAD Street station underpass and proceed through four lights. Bear right through the second light (Orange Street) and proceed through the intersection. Continue on King Blvd through two more traffic lights (St. Michael's Medical Center will be on your left). The 4th light is Central Avenue - go one more block and turn left onto Bleeker Street (NJIT is on your right). Go one block and turn right onto University Ave. A small parking lot is at the end of the block on your RIGHT, just BEFORE Warren Street tucked in between the new Life Sciences Building and the two greenhouses in front of the Aidekman Center. About 12 minutes traveling time from NJ Turnpike exit 15 W.

Via Holland Tunnel: Go through tunnel and stay in left lane after exiting; follow signs for Rts. 1 & 9 (take car route; no trucks) staying to the far left. Follow signs to the Pulaski Skyway. Keep on the left as cars merge in on the right. Take Skyway over two rivers and exit on your right on Raymond Blvd. Follow exit through stop sign and merge right onto Raymond Blvd at second stop sign. Follow Raymond Blvd. all the way through Newark, under the train station, to Broad St. Continue on Raymond 2 more blocks and then turn right on Washington St. Go 1 block and you will see a "Golden Dome" on left; go two more blocks and turn left onto Bleeker St. Go 1 block and turn left onto University Ave. A small parking lot is at the end of the block on your RIGHT just BEFORE Warren Street tucked in between the new Life Sciences Building on the corner and the two greenhouses in front of the Aidekman Center.
